To accommodate some required emergency generator transfer switch maintenance, physical plant will need to turn off ALL the red power outlets (emergency power) in lab spaces for approximately 2 hours.
Network services, VPN, Wireless, and most other IT services will be unavailable at that time.
Research jobs running in the datacenter should not be affected.

This scheduled maintenance affected: Network (Wired, Wireless, VPN), Servers, Hardware, and Software (Research Computing, Virtual Servers, Web and Database Hosting), Data Center (Discovery Building Infrastructure, CHTC - Computational Clusters), Communications (Email, Calendar, and Mail Lists, Telephones and Voice Mail, Audio Visual and Web Conferencing), Data Storage (Backup, Document Storage, Research Storage, Home Folders), and Help Desk (Printing and Scanning, General Software).
